Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Senior Manager, Strategy & Corporate Development, to join our Corporate Development team in Beachwood, Ohio. This hybrid role leads select M&A transactions, framing strategic rationale, directing valuation and due diligence, and coordinating multi-functional teams to deliver executive-ready recommendations.

The position requires 7+ years in corporate development or related fields, 3+ years leading M&A, and a US-work authorization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• 7+ years of experience in corporate development, strategy, investment banking, management consulting, private equity, and/or corporate finance.
• 3+ years of experience leading M&A transactions, due diligence workstreams, or corporate development projects.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end acquisitions with minimal oversight, including strategy, valuation, due diligence, approvals, and transition planning.
• Act as deputy deal lead on larger transactions, manage day-to-day execution and coordination.
• Frame strategic rationale and key risks for potential transactions for leadership.
• Oversee valuation, financial modeling, scenario analysis, and business case development.
• Lead cross-functional due diligence teams across finance, legal, tax, operations, IT, HR and more; resolve issues and elevate risks.
• Lead negotiations on smaller transactions and support complex negotiations with data-driven positions.
• Prepare executive-ready materials and recommendations for senior leadership and Board discussions.
