Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Senior Strategy & Business Development Manager – Global Industrial Segment. This hybrid role can be based in multiple US locations with relocation to Cleveland, OH offered. You will drive strategic planning, identify growth opportunities, and lead acquisition initiatives across the Electrical Sector.

Responsibilities include developing strategic plans, evaluating markets, and coordinating with senior leaders to shape the segment's direction and investments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of seven (7) years of professional experience in strategy roles or related settings.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience using strategic frameworks and analytical tools.
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in energy or industrial markets.
• Eaton will not sponsor immigration for this position.

Responsibilities

• Support strategic planning efforts for Electrical Sector and Divisions (Business Units).
• Identify growth opportunities and priorities with segment leaders.
• Analyze target markets, Eaton's sector, and competitors.
• Develop strategic rationale; quantify investment requirements.
• Create formal Strategic Plan documents for Divisions and Sector.
• Build and manage the acquisition pipeline and target lists.
• Coordinate input from SCD and divisions to align deal models.
• Prepare business cases with robust analyses; support negotiations.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives and sector performance assessments.
• Develop a point of view on market share, trends, and financial performance.
