Job summary

Fresenius Kabi USA is seeking a Manager, Corporate Portfolio and M&A to drive inorganic growth across the company’s portfolio, including digital health and emerging technologies.

The role can be worked remotely with regular travel to the Lake Zurich, IL headquarters; local candidates are prioritized. A competitive compensation package includes a 10% target annual bonus and comprehensive benefits. visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific/technical/finance field required.
• MBA strongly preferred.
• 5+ years of experience with a minimum of 2 years in Business Development, M&A, Strategy and business analytics functions.
• 3+ years of experience in healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Analyze markets, segments, sectors, companies/assets including startups across Fresenius business areas and identify targets for inorganic growth.
• Lead cross-functional teams to deliver on corporate projects through due diligence, business case development, board approvals and execution.
• Prepare pitch documents for Fresenius management to create alignment and support prioritization efforts related to inorganic targets.
• Build valuations using DCF, NPV and precedent analysis; evaluate and negotiate inorganic opportunities.
• Present Fresenius as a preferred partner to external interfaces including consultants, brokers, and investment banks.
