Job summary

Deloitte is seeking an M&A Senior Consultant to join the IT Diligence team within Strategy & Transactions in the United States. You will evaluate IT environments, identify risks, and support transaction decisions across corporate and PE deals.

The role requires 4+ years in IT, strong communication, and the ability to travel about 50%. You will synthesize findings into client-ready analyses and help shape post-close strategies.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in information technology across multiple areas (IT org, processes, applications, infrastructure, cloud tech, cybersecurity).
• 4+ years of experience synthesizing data, identifying risks and value opportunities in diligence work.
• 2+ years presenting findings in verbal, written, and analytic formats for M&A diligence.
• Completion and delivery of 10+ IT due diligence projects for strategic/financial clients.
• Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of consulting/industry, or MBA with 2+ years experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate IT systems, software environments, and operating models to identify risks, separation/integration considerations, and value opportunities.
• Perform technology due diligence for acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, and partnerships.
• Synthesize diligence findings into client-ready analyses, reports, and recommendations.
• Develop workplans for engagement components and coordinate across workstreams.
• Design deliverables aligned to objectives, including verification of findings.
