Job summary

Deloitte is seeking an M&A Senior Consultant on the IT Diligence team to evaluate technology environments, identify risks, and uncover value creation opportunities across acquisitions, divestitures, and partnerships.

You will synthesize findings into client-ready analyses, develop engagement workplans, and lead cross-functional workstreams, with travel as needed. Deloitte emphasizes delivering actionable insights and guiding deal outcomes.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in information technology across IT organization, processes, applications, infrastructure, cloud tech, and cybersecurity
• 4+ years synthesizing data, identifying risks and value creation opportunities for diligence work
• 2+ years presenting findings in verbal, written, and analytical formats in an M&A diligence context
• Completion and delivery of 10+ information technology due diligence projects for strategic or financial clients
• Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of consulting/industry experience; or MBA with 2+ years of experience
• Ability to travel 50% on average based on client work
• Limited immigration sponsorship may be available

Responsibilities

• Evaluating IT systems, software environments, and operating models to identify transaction risks and value creation opportunities
• Performing technology due diligence for acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, and partnerships
• Synthesizing diligence findings into client-ready analyses, reports, and recommendations
• Developing workplans for engagement components and coordinating across workstreams
• Designing deliverables aligned to objectives and client needs, including verification of findings
