Job summary

Deloitte is seeking an M&A IT Diligence Manager in the United States to guide IT diligence for transactions. You will lead discussions with client and target-company stakeholders, assess IT organizations, applications, infrastructure, and cybersecurity, and identify risks and value opportunities during deal execution.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in information technology (IT) across multiple areas including IT organization, processes, applications, infrastructure, cloud tech, and cybersecurity.
• 6+ years of experience synthesizing data, identifying risks and value opportunities for M&A diligence.
• 5+ years of presenting findings in verbal, written, and analytical formats as part of M&A diligence.
• 20+ IT due diligence projects for strategic or financial clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead M&A IT diligence discussions with client and target-company stakeholders to assess IT organizations, processes, applications, infrastructure, cloud tech, and cybersecurity.
• Identify IT risks, technical debt, IT maturity gaps, costs, and value-creation opportunities; assess data, infrastructure, and integration architecture; recommend actions for acquisition, divestiture, and post-merger activities.
• Analyze IT cost and financial data using benchmarks and tools; develop cost estimates, synergy analyses, contract analyses, and cost models.
• Create and oversee diligence work products, including agendas, data request lists, interview guides, findings, and client deliverables.
• Serve as day-to-day contact for executive clients, present findings, coordinate advisors, and lead delivery teams to meet quality and timeline commitments.
• Develop scope statements and pricing estimates; support proposal development and client growth; coach team members; contribute to recruiting.
