Job summary

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of experience in investment banking, top-tier management consulting, corporate development, or related fields.
• Proven track record of leading end-to-end M&A or strategic investments.
• Demonstrated ability to synthesize market data into strategic recommendations.
• Background in crypto, blockchain tech, or digital assets preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead execution of mergers and acquisitions and strategic investments, including sourcing, financial analysis, due diligence coordination, and integration planning.
• Conduct market research and synthesize findings into strategic recommendations for product and company direction.
• Develop competitive intelligence on key players and translate insights into actionable implications for Coinbase.
• Partner with senior leaders to build cross-functional relationships and drive high-priority strategic initiatives.
• Manage relationships with startups, investors, and industry participants to surface opportunities and monitor market developments.
• Strengthen Corporate Development operations by improving processes and contributing to recruiting and mentoring team members.
