Job summary

Jabil is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer – Low Voltage (LV) Switchgear in Prince George, VA. You will own the electrical design, architecture, and lifecycle support from concept through production release, aligning with customer requirements and manufacturing capabilities.

Responsibilities include developing protection/control systems, collaborating across global teams, and ensuring compliance with UL/IEEE standards. The role requires 40 hrs/week on-site with travel up to 20%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering (Power Systems preferred).
• 10+ years of electrical engineering experience, including 5+ years in LV switchgear/power distribution products.
• Experience with UL/NRTL standards and ANSI/IEEE standards governing LV equipment.

Responsibilities

• Own LV switchgear electrical design and architecture.
• Translate customer requirements into engineering specifications and design deliverables.
• Lead development and validation of protection and coordination philosophies; arc-flash mitigation strategies.
