Job summary

Jabil seeks a senior electrical engineer to own LV switchgear design and architecture. You will translate customer needs into specifications, lead validation, and drive cost-efficient production releases.

You will collaborate with global teams, ensure compliance with industry standards, and support testing across FAT/SAT and field operations to deliver reliable power distribution solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering required.
• 10+ years electrical engineering experience, 5+ years in LV switchgear.
• Strong knowledge of UL/NEC standards for power equipment.
• Experience with IEC 61850 and Modbus communications.

Responsibilities

• Own the electrical design and architecture of LV switchgear.
• Translate customer requirements into engineering specifications.
• Lead design transfer and production release activities.
• Interface with customers during design reviews and issue resolution.
• Support FAT/SAT testing and field troubleshooting.
• Drive DFM/DFT/DFR and VAVE improvements.
• Collaborate with global teams on manufacturing and validation.
