Job summary

Gucci in New Jersey is seeking a Senior Operations Controller to advocate operational governance, safeguard inventory integrity, and uphold luxury service standards. You will support management in daily operations, troubleshoot store issues, and help deliver exceptional client experiences.

You will play a key role in coordinating shipping/receiving, inventory cycles, and adherence to Gucci procedures, while collaborating with Store Director and Operations Manager to optimize performance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of senior retail operations experience with strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated ethics, professionalism, integrity and ability to inspire trust and teamwork.
• Strong organizational skills for efficient inventory management.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in stock management processes.
• Knowledge of stock control procedures and inventory management software (receiving, tracking, storing).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
• Excellent communication skills with store management, sales teams and staff.
• Flexibility to work varied hours including weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee shipping/receiving and report issues to Store Director or Operations Manager.
• Ensure timely merchandise movement while following procedures (transfers, RTVs, damages).
• Maintain accurate store inventory; oversee cycle counts and reconciliations.
• Suggest ideas to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Support sales team to deliver high-level client experience.
• Communicate discrepancies to management promptly.
• Process repairs/damages per company guidelines.
• Assist with boutique maintenance as needed.
• Handle packing/storage per Gucci standards.
• Place orders for office/store supplies.
• Ensure compliance with standards, procedures and security.
