Job summary

RXO, Inc. is seeking a Senior Sales and Operations Manager in Illinois to lead a sales team and drive new revenue opportunities across multiple transportation verticals.

You will coordinate with Operations to optimize pricing, performance metrics, and customer satisfaction while shaping strategic growth initiatives. The role requires 5 years in transportation, leadership experience, and a proven ability to develop pipelines, manage CRM processes, and close high-impact deals.

Qualifications

• 5 years of transportation-related experience.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 2 years of non-asset-based brokerage experience preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership and people-management skills.
• Strong ability to prioritize and drive sales strategy.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and lead a team of inside salespeople; provide industry expertise, guidance, and support.
• Interview and train new employees; conduct reviews and set performance goals.
• Act as a liaison between Sales and Operations; review pricing, market penetration and KPIs.
• Drive revenue and margin growth across multiple verticals; develop best practices.
• Develop sales pipelines and strategies; review KPIs and CRM adherence.
• Review customer metrics in real time; assist with timely bid packages and RFPs.
