Job summary

RXO is seeking a Senior Sales and Operations Manager in Chicago. You will lead a sales team, identify opportunities, and generate new revenue while coordinating across Sales and Operations to optimize pricing, market penetration, and KPIs.

With 5 years in transportation-related roles and a background in brokerage, you will build pipelines, mentor staff, and influence strategic decisions. This role offers strong compensation and growth within RXO's dynamic environment.

Qualifications

5 years of transportation-related experience.
Bachelor's degree is preferred.
2 years of non-asset-based brokerage experience.
Demonstrated management and leadership abilities; conflict resolution experience.
Ability to prioritize work and drive sales strategically.

Responsibilities

Mentor and lead a team of inside salespeople; provide industry expertise, guidance, and support.
Interview and train new employees, conduct reviews and set performance goals.
Act as liaison between Sales and Operations; review pricing, market penetration and KPIs.
Drive revenue and margin growth across multiple verticals and modes; maintain best practices.
Develop sales pipelines and strategies; review activity KPIs and CRM adherence.
Review customer metrics in real time; assist with timely bids and RFPs.
