Job summary

RXO Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager, Operations to provide strategic leadership for Transportation Management services. You will define opportunities for improvement, drive efficiencies, and steer growth across RXO’s transportation operations network.

The role requires guiding implementation, supervising teams, and identifying cost-saving initiatives while maintaining service excellence. Travel to client sites and multiple locations is expected as part of the role.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in supply chain management (domestic or international).
• Working knowledge of transportation, warehousing, distribution, inventory planning and management, network analysis and materials management.
• Experience with financial management and HR skills.
• Availability to work extended hours and travel to multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Define requirements for transportation operations and ensure new strategies meet company and customer needs.
• Develop and deploy transportation operational and management solutions with strong controls.
• Provide direct supervisory oversight of the transportation team to meet service levels.
• Identify cost-saving initiatives to achieve budget and operating income goals.
• Lead HR development through training, development, and succession planning.
• Identify growth opportunities with current and new customers and perform account management.
• Recognize and manage operational risks and security, support legal processes and disputes.
