Central Transport LLC is seeking a seasoned operations leader for its terminal dock team. You will oversee unloading, forklift traffic, and palletized freight, while managing up to 30 drivers and dock personnel to meet production goals.

You’ll lead with strong supervision, ensure safety standards, and drive quality service for customers across the network. A degree is preferred, and long shifts and weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing a team, preferably in transportation operations.
• Strong leadership skills including hiring, coaching, and mentoring employees.
• Commitment to customer service excellence and safety.

Responsabilités

• Oversee operations for designated terminal dock area.
• Manage up to 30 local LTL drivers and dock personnel to meet production schedules.
• Build loads based on available labor and freight, using independent judgment.
• Ensure proper carrier loading by monitoring cube and trailer weight.
• Provide leadership and accountability to drivers and dock staff; monitor dock production and hours.
• Maintain a safe work environment compliant with DOT/OSHA standards.
• Support a culture of excellence in product quality for customers.
