Prudential Financial is seeking a skilled Disability Claims Specialist to serve as a Long-Term Disability technical expert. You will guide claim professionals, provide technical guidance on policy interpretation, and prioritize actions to maintain block health while ownership remains with the claim professional.

You will coach teammates, analyze complex claims, and support training initiatives to uphold high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Long-Term Disability claim management experience.
• Advanced knowledge of policy provisions, medical and vocational considerations.
• Ability to interpret data and complex claim scenarios.
• Experience coaching claim professionals and giving actionable feedback.
• Strong analytical and risk-identification skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical expert for complex LD claims and support Team Lead.
• Provide guidance on policy interpretation and claim strategy.
• Coach professionals through difficult scenarios and provide feedback.
• Analyze claim activity to identify trends and risks for coaching.
• Monitor claim block health with inventory and performance indicators.
• Contribute to technical training and knowledge sharing.
