Job summary

Transportation Insight seeks a Solutions Engineer to assess and design logistics solutions that improve client business models. You will lead cross-functional efforts, analyze data, and help price and present multi‑mode service offerings.

In this hands‑on role, you’ll collaborate with sales, operations and clients to define the future state, document requirements, and support transitions to implementation and account management teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in supply chain management.
• BS degree in business or related field; MBA preferred if Bachelor’s degree is not in business or related field.
• Advanced experience with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio).
• LEAN / Six Sigma certification or experience a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assess a validated prospects’ current supply chain program by documenting current state.
• Understand client systems used in current state and propose the best solution.
• Document the future solution for presentations and documentation.
• Help create pricing strategies for service offerings that are competitive.
• Assist sales in demonstrating technology platforms to support closures.
