Job summary

Transportation Insight, LLC is seeking a Solutions Engineer to assess, develop and support logistics solutions that improve client business models. You will analyze data, design future states and help position offerings during the sales cycle with cross‑functional teams.

The role requires 5+ years in supply chain management, BS in business or related field (MBA preferred), and advanced MS Office skills. You will manage multiple projects and may travel up to 15% with occasional peak-period

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in supply chain management.
• BS degree in business or related field; MBA preferred if not in business.
• Advanced experience with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio).
• LEAN / Six Sigma certification or experience is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assess a validated prospect’s current supply chain program and document current state.
• Understand client systems and objectives to propose the best solution.
• Document the future solution for presentations and other documents.
• Help create pricing strategies for Transportation Insight services.
• Assist sales in demonstrating technology platforms to enable closures.
• Communicate effectively with prospects and clients in person, by phone or online.
• Support transitioning clients from sales to implementation/account management teams.
