Job summary

Transportation Insight, LLC seeks a Solutions Engineer to assess, design, and support logistics solutions that improve clients’ business models. You will analyze data to define the current state and craft an ideal future solution aligned with client needs and profitability.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, assist in pricing strategies, demonstrate platforms to drive closures, and guide clients from sales to implementation. Travel up to 15% may be required.

Qualifications

• BS degree in business or related field; MBA preferred if degree not in business.
• 5+ years of experience in supply chain management.
• Advanced MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio).
• LEAN / Six Sigma certification or experience a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Strong collaboration with internal operations teams during solution development.

Responsibilities

• Assess a validated prospects’ current supply chain program and document current state.
• Document the future solution to support presentations and other client documents.
• Help create pricing strategies for service offerings that are competitive and attractive.
• Assist sales in demonstrating technology platforms to help close deals.
• Effectively communicate with prospects and clients via phone, web, and on-site as needed.
• Support ongoing improvement by documenting best practices and transitioning clients to implementation teams.
