Job summary

Transportation Insight, LLC is seeking a Solutions Engineer to assess, design, and implement logistics solutions that improve client business models. The role blends data analysis with hands-on leadership to support the deal cycle and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in supply chain management, solid MS Office skills, and experience with TMS systems; Lean/Six Sigma is a plus. Travel up to 15% is expected.

Qualifications

• BS degree in business or related field; MBA preferred if not in business.
• 5+ years of experience in supply chain management or related fields.
• Advanced experience with Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio).
• LEAN / Six Sigma Certification or experience a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize to meet deadlines.
• Strong collaboration with internal operations teams during solution development.

Responsibilities

• Assess current state of prospects' supply chain programs and document findings.
• Design future solutions that meet client needs and can be operated by the organization.
• Support pricing strategies for Transportation Insight offerings.
• Assist sales in demonstrating technology platforms to close new business.
• Travel locally and out of state up to 15% as needed.
