Job summary

Transportation Insight, LLC is seeking a Solutions Engineer to assess, develop, and support the implementation of logistics solutions that can improve clients’ business models. You will lead cross‑functional work within the sales process, price complex multi‑mode service offerings and contribute to demonstrations and client communications.

The role requires 5+ years in supply chain management, strong project management and MS Office skills, with Lean/Six Sigma as a plus.

Qualifications

• BS degree in business or related field; MBA preferred if bachelor’s not in business or related field.
• Experience of 5+ years in supply chain management or related fields.
• LEAN / Six Sigma certification or experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assess a validated prospects’ current supply chain program by documenting current state.
• Understand client's systems/applications used in current state and overall objectives to propose best solution.
• Document the future solution to help production of presentations/docs.
• Help create pricing strategies for Transportation Insight service offerings.
• Assist sales in demonstrating technology platforms to close new business.
• Communicate with prospects and clients at necessary pace via phone, web and on-site.
• Support transition of clients from sales to implementation/account management teams.
• Document best practices for ongoing improvement.
