Job summary

Transportation Insight, LLC is seeking a Solutions Engineer to assess, develop, and support the implementation of logistics solutions that improve client business models. You will lead hands-on with cross-functional teams, price complex multi‑mode service solutions, and design future-state configurations for client success.

The role requires 5+ years in supply chain management, advanced MS Office skills, and a track record in solution development and stakeholder collaboration.

Qualifications

• BS degree in business; MBA preferred if degree not in business field.
• 5+ years of experience in supply chain management.
• Advanced experience with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio).
• Lean / Six Sigma certification or experience a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Strong collaboration with internal operations teams in solution development stages.

Responsibilities

• Assess a validated prospects' current supply chain program and document current state.
• Understand the client's systems and requirements to propose the best solution.
• Help create pricing strategies for Transportation Insight service offerings.
• Assist sales personnel in demonstrating technology platforms that lead to closure of new business.
• Effectively communicate with prospects and clients at the necessary pace via phone, web and on-site.
• Support ongoing improvement efforts by documenting best practices.
