Job summary

Penske Logistics LLC is seeking an Senior Operations Supervisor to lead hourly associates and coordinate driver deliveries, loading/unloading, and cross-docking in alignment with cost objectives. The role involves staffing decisions, customer meetings, and reviewing daily orders to optimize private fleet use.

The position supports a Monday-Thursday shift from 3:30pm to 2:30am, with bonus eligibility based on performance. Strong communication and MS Office skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years related functional experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Strong written/oral communication and organizational skills required.
• Advanced computer skills including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint required.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is essential.
• Willingness to travel and complete Penske employment processes including background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Communicate performance standards, interview hourly associates and advise on hiring.
• Supervise logistics operations including customer service, dispatch, and documentation.
• Evaluate work methods to improve dispatch/warehouse productivity.
• Provide relief coverage during time off and ensure system familiarity for compliance.
• Manage labor hours to minimize overtime and meet productivity targets.
