Job summary

Penske Logistics LLC is seeking a Senior Operations Supervisor to lead hourly staff and oversee daily driver deliveries, loading/unloading, cross-docking and customer service tasks. The role involves scheduling, performance management and coordination with accounts to meet cost objectives.

The position offers night shift hours, Monday–Friday 8:00 PM – 6:00 AM, with flexibility during peak seasons. A bachelor's degree is preferred and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years related experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Strong written and oral communication and organizational skills.
• Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is essential.
• Willingness to travel and pass background/drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Lead hourly associates and supervise daily tasks.
• Oversee logistics operations including loading/unloading, dispatch, and documentation.
• Monitor attendance, productivity and performance; provide coaching or recognition.
• Review truck routes, costs and private fleet utilization; optimize workflow.
• Ensure safety, compliance and accurate records; manage overtime and budgets.
