Job summary

Penske Logistics in Columbus, OH is seeking an experienced Senior Operations Supervisor to lead hourly staff and driver deliveries, loading/unloading, and cross-docking to meet service and cost objectives.

You will supervise processes, participate in hiring, manage schedules, and review daily orders to optimize private fleet usage while ensuring safety and compliance. This role offers a Monday–Friday 7am–4pm schedule and bonus eligibility.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years related functional experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Strong written/oral communication and organizational skills are required.
• Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint required.

Responsibilities

• Communicate performance standards that are specific and measurable, Interview hourly associates and provide recommendations for hire, Monitor attendance, productivity, and other performance markers and provide counseling and/or recognition to associates as needed.
