Job summary

Penske Logistics in San Antonio, TX is seeking an experienced operations supervisor to lead hourly associates and driver activities, ensuring deliveries, loading/unloading, and cross-docking are executed safely and efficiently.

You will manage shift coverage, train new staff, monitor attendance and productivity, control documentation, and uphold financial and safety policies to meet customer and cost objectives. Flexibility for peak seasons and travel as needed may be required.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years related functional experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Advanced computer skills including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is essential.
• Willingness to travel and work the required schedule.

Responsibilities

• Supervise logistics operations including customer service, freight loading and unloading, dispatch and documentation.
• Evaluate and change work methods to increase dispatch/warehouse productivity.
• Assist in new associate training and provide coverage when needed.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and control overtime.
• Maintain site safety alignment and provide training and direction.
