Job summary

Penske Logistics LLC in San Antonio seeks an Operations Manager to lead warehousing operations, exceed goals, and align with customer needs. You will influence outcomes through team leadership and strategic execution.

You will recruit, train, and develop teams; manage financial plans; foster safety and continuous improvement initiatives; and collaborate across sites and with customers to deliver exceptional logistics results.

Qualifications

• 4 - 6 years related functional experience.
• 3+ years managerial or supervisory experience in distribution center management.
• Ability to connect and build rapport with associates and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop supervisors and associates to meet customer objectives.
• Meet or exceed customer KPIs and coordinate with local customer daily.
• Develop and execute annual financial and operating plan.
• Maintain a safe, incident-free work environment through proactive safety practices.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities to reduce costs and improve service.
• Oversee fleet/equipment utilization and vendor relationships.
