Job summary

ProTrans International seeks a Senior Manager, Logistics to oversee end-to-end distribution of consumer goods across multiple facilities, ensuring efficiency and profitability. You will develop and execute logistics strategies, manage carrier and vendor relationships, and drive continuous process improvement in line with US-Mexico regulations.

Based in Laredo, the role requires strong leadership of 100+ staff, cross-functional collaboration with operations, and hands-on use of TMS/WMS systems,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in SCM, Logistics, Business, or related field required.
• 8+ years in logistics or supply chain management; 3+ years in leadership.
• Strategic thinking and multi-facility logistics alignment.
• Analytical problem-solving using data to improve distribution.
• Regulatory compliance with U.S. and Mexico transport rules.
• Strong leadership and cross-functional team management.
• Negotiation and vendor/carrier relationship management.
• Excellent communication with leadership and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate carrier, broker, and 3PL contracts.
• Lead data-driven optimization of distribution across facilities.
• Ensure U.S. and Mexico regulatory/trade compliance.
• Implement and monitor TMS/WMS and KPI reporting.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
