Job summary

You will serve as the liaison among customers, drivers, dispatchers, and internal teams, providing proactive status updates on pickups, deliveries, and service performance. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in dispatch/operations, FMCSA/DOT knowledge, and proficiency with AS-400, SkyBitz, LYTX

Qualifications

• 5+ years of dispatch/operations management experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of FMCSA & DOT guidelines.
• Advanced knowledge of AS-400 and intermediate computer skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with a wide range of people.

Responsibilities

• Providing updates to customers on projects and operational check-ins on pickups and deliveries.
• Participate in customer weekly/daily calls regarding performance and planning.
• Review changes with customers and roll out improvements with operations.
• Support driver hiring and onboarding processes.
• Evaluate driver pools and capabilities for peak periods.
• Manage equipment utilization of tractors and trailers.
• Complete daily payroll responsibilities through UKG.
• Match drivers to service needs and coordinate questions.
• Coordinate Recruiting and Safety processing of applications.
• Review problems from customers and resolve them.
• Work with SkyBitz, Platform Science, LYTX Drivecam, AS400 reporting.
• Coach drivers on performance and safety items.
• Review terminal performance and report KPI in weekly meetings.
• Support billing close-outs with administrative teams.
• Identify opportunities for additional revenue like detention and bobtail billing.
