J.B. Hunt Transport Services, Inc. is seeking a Logistics Claims Manager to investigate and resolve cargo and related logistics claims for assigned customers, emphasizing settlement outcomes. You will process claims, coordinate with internal teams and external partners, and ensure compliance with contracts and regulations.

The role requires handling monetary aspects, advocating for customers, and identifying trends to mitigate risk while maintaining auditable claim files and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 4–5 years in claims or logistics.
• Must possess Arkansas, New York and California adjuster licenses.
• Experience in settlement and recovery across logistics claims is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and manage complex cargo, warehouse, and logistics claims for the customer.
• Advocate for the customer and hold parties accountable throughout the claims lifecycle.
• Analyze documents to validate claims, determine liability, and pursue recovery.
• Negotiate, settle, and document claim resolutions within authority.
• Coordinate with carriers, insurers, and operations to ensure timely closure.
• Maintain audit-ready files and communicate status to stakeholders.
• Identify trends and contribute to root-cause analysis and mitigation.
