Job summary

J.B. Hunt Transport, Inc. is seeking a Casualty Claims Intake Representative I to manage the recording and triage of safety-related events, gather claim details, and initiate actions in line with company policy.

You will act as the initial contact for claimants and coordinate with internal teams to support timely resolution and documentation. The role emphasizes accurate information capture, adherence to regulatory requirements, and collaboration with stakeholders to reduce financial exposure

Qualifications

• Experience in a call center and/or insurance environment preferred.
• Ability to analyze situations and escalate appropriately.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Field and process calls and communications related to safety events to create an accurate record and assess initial exposure.
• Identify missing or updated claim information and determine appropriate action while ensuring compliance with laws and policy.
• Coordinate with claimants, adjusters, and legal teams to support timely resolution and risk mitigation.
• Support litigation preservation by locating and storing data and documents as required.
• Provide investigative support to claims examiners and ensure thorough documentation of events.
