Job summary

Availa Bank is seeking a Loan Servicing Manager in Ankeny, IA to lead the Loan Servicing and Loan Operations teams. You will ensure accurate loan transactions, maintenance, and reconciliations while upholding regulatory controls and bank policies.

The role requires strong leadership, deep loan knowledge, and the ability to collaborate across departments to improve processes and risk management. Travel to multiple locations may be involved.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 3 years in Loan Servicing.
• Minimum 2 years supervisory and leadership experience.
• Loan dual control/FDICIA experience

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, direction, coaching, and development for the Loan Servicing and Loan Operations Assistant functions.
• Serve as SME and escalation resource for complex loan servicing, operational, transaction, and system-related matters.
• Oversee accurate and timely booking, maintenance, and servicing of loans in the core system.
• Maintain advanced knowledge of servicing for commercial, agricultural, consumer, and mortgage loans.
• Adhere to state and federal banking regulations; research and implement changes.
• Lead the creation and maintenance of procedures and processes.
• Develop and maintain training and cross-training for staff.
• Collaborate with Credit, Accounting, Lending, Risk, Compliance, IT, and other areas to resolve issues.
• Compile and review reports daily, weekly, monthly
