Job summary

Planet Home Lending, LLC is seeking a Loan Operations Partial Release Specialist III to support the Mortgage Operations Department. The role involves evaluating partial release research, easements, eminent domain, and legal descriptions with precision in location and boundaries.

You will engage with borrowers, title companies, attorneys, and internal Legal for guidance, and must manage documents, ensure compliance, and maintain detailed records and reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or paralegal studies or equivalent job experience required.
• Minimum five (5) years of related experience required.
• Mortgage industry experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Performs partial releases and information gathering through discovery investigations.
• Corresponds with borrowers, title companies, attorneys, or state representatives for process resolution.
• Organizes, reviews, analyzes, cross-checks, follows up and validates information.
• Maintains all tasks for accuracy and ensures timelines are met.
• Builds and maintains databases and files, and tracks documents.
• Prepares written reports and correspondence.
• Reviews and monitors new laws, regulations, and investor guidelines.
• Checks and edits legal forms and documents for accuracy.
• Maintains updated processes and job aids.
