Bank of the Orient is seeking an enthusiastic Loan Operations professional to support servicing and operations of loans, including payoffs, lien releases, bookings, and disbursements. The role requires careful document handling, audit trails, and responsive customer inquiries.

Ideal candidate has 1 year in loan operations, familiarity with commercial and consumer real estate lending, and strong MS Office skills. Experience with LaserPro and data systems is a plus.

Qualifications

• Requires 2 years of college-level coursework.
• 1 year experience in loan operations in a financial services setting.
• Experience with commercial and consumer real estate loans.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and related data systems.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates quality customer service in interactions with internal and external customers.
• Tracks insurance policies and audits updates in the system.
• Reconciles loan balances and postings with the general ledger.
• Responds to inquiries by researching, analyzing and resolving issues.
• Maintains audit trails and accurate loan reports daily.
• Verifies property tax evidence and completes system updates.
• Maintains hard and electronic loan files with proper retention.
• Keeps loan information current in files and systems.
• Monitors UCC filings and financial statements; communicates due dates.
• Ensures loans conform to risk assessments prior to funding/closing.
• Creates and maintains complete loan files for audits.
• Tracks post-closing items and follow-ups.
