Legend Senior Living in Florida is seeking a skilled Sous Chef to join our culinary team. You will support the Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and maintaining safety and sanitation standards to deliver high-quality meals for residents.

The Gold Leaf Dining program reflects our commitment to excellence, and the role emphasizes teamwork, quality, and a balance between culinary creativity and dependable schedules.

Qualifikationen

• For a candidate to be considered, at least one year of experience in a commercial kitchen as a line cook.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Current food handling licenses as required by the state.

Aufgaben

• Assisting the Chef in menu planning, food preparation, inventory, documentation and scheduling.
• Preparing food in accordance with the planned menu, noting changes when applicable.
• Ensuring all cooking, serving, storage, preparation, and service areas are clean, safe and organized to meet all applicable food service standards and regulations.
• Monitoring quality food service in accordance with Legend’s Gold Leaf Dining standards.
• Leading the kitchen environment in the absence of the Chef.
