Legend Senior Living is seeking a standout Chef to lead the culinary team and oversee all culinary operations. You will plan menus, manage provisioning and safety, and supervise kitchen and dining room staff.

No late-night hours—our residents eat early, allowing balanced work/life. The Gold Leaf Dining standard sets the high bar for atmosphere and quality, with opportunities to grow within a supportive, award-winning community.

Qualifications

• Two years experience cooking in a commercial kitchen.
• Experience supervising kitchen staff.
• Formal culinary training or associates degree in culinary arts (or 5 years culinary experience).

Responsibilities

• Plan a variety of nutritious meals meeting dietary requirements.
• Manage department budget and inventory control.
• Directly supervise dietary staff including hiring, training, scheduling.
• Ensure all cooking, serving, storage areas meet safety standards.
• Maintain high quality food service per Gold Leaf Dining standards.
• Fill in for culinary staff as needed and be Manager-on-Duty on rotation.
