Job summary

National Church Residences seeks Service Coordinators to support two senior apartment communities and advance better living and care for residents. The role emphasizes advocacy, coordinating programs, and linking residents with community services while fostering partnerships with local providers.

You will develop resources, sponsor health- and life-skills events, and ensure high-quality service. A bachelor’s in social work or related field is preferred, with several years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work or a related field preferred.
• Two or more years of experience delivering social services to elderly and/or family populations preferred.
• Working knowledge of supportive services and local community resources.

Responsibilities

• Advocate, organize, problem-solve, and deliver results for residents.
• Coordinate programs and activities for residents.
• Liaise with community agencies, network with service providers, and seek low-cost options.
• Engage residents to identify needs and refer to community services.
• Develop a Resource Directory with local/state providers.
• Sponsor educational events on health care, support services, life skills.
• Provide quality customer service to residents and assist with basic needs.
• Assist residents in utilizing community services such as meals, transportation, and day care.
• Monitor and relay feedback from residents and families.
• Manage internal and external relationships with clear communication.
