Job summary

National Church Residences is seeking Service Coordinators to advocate for seniors, coordinate resident programs, and connect with community services. You will identify needs, build partnerships, and sponsor educational events to improve health and daily living for residents.

The role emphasizes strong client service, liaison work with agencies, and creating resource materials to support aging in place across two WV senior housing communities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field preferred.
• Experience delivering social services to elderly and/or family populations preferred.
• Knowledge of supportive services and local community resources.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for residents and coordinate programs and activities.
• Serve as liaison to community agencies and network with service providers.
• Identify low-cost services and negotiate discounts for residents.
• Develop a Resource Directory of local services.
• Sponsor educational events on health care, life skills, and referrals.
• Provide quality customer service and assist residents with needs.
• Monitor feedback from residents and families and relay concerns.
