Job summary

National Church Residences is seeking a Service Coordinator to advocate for seniors, coordinate programs across two buildings, and connect residents with community services. You will partner with local agencies, identify affordable providers, and engage residents to address needs.

A bachelor’s degree in social work is preferred and prior elder care experience is valued. This full-time role offers competitive benefits and opportunities to impact daily living for seniors across our housing

Qualifications

• Two or more years delivering social services to elderly or families.
• Knowledge of supportive services and local resources.
• Ability to advocate, organize, and deliver results for residents.

Responsibilities

• Advocate, organize, problem-solve and deliver results for residents.
• Coordinate programs and activities for residents.
• Liaise with community agencies and service providers.
• Identify low-cost providers and negotiate discounts.
• Engage residents to identify needs and refer to services.
• Develop a statewide/local Resource Directory.
• Sponsor educational events on health care and well-being.
• Provide quality customer service and assist with basic needs.
• Assist residents in accessing community services (housing, meals, transport).
• Monitor feedback and communicate with residents and families.
• Manage internal and external relationships and communications.
