Job summary

Harmony Senior Services in Avon, IN is seeking a Move-In Coordinator to welcome new residents and guide families through the move-in process. You will prepare apartments, complete paperwork, and ensure a smooth transition for new residents.

You’ll coordinate assessments, residency agreements, and pro-rated rates, collaborating with Marketing, Business Office, and Healthcare teams to keep resident files complete and up-to-date.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Senior care experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong relationship-building and customer service skills.
• Proficiency with computer programs and administrative systems.
• Ability to lift, carry, and push up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the move-in process for new residents and their families.
• Ensure required assessments and documentation are completed before move-in.
• Complete residency agreements and calculate pro-rated monthly rates.
• Coordinate with team members to ensure apartments are move-in ready.
• Communicate move-in and move-out updates with community leadership.
• Conduct community tours and respond to inquiries when Marketing is unavailable.
• Partner with the Business Office and Healthcare teams to ensure resident files are complete.
• Follow up with new residents and families during the first month to help a smooth transition.
• Build relationships with residents, families, employees, and partners.
