Job summary

American House Senior Living Communities in California seeks a Move-In Coordinator to oversee move-ins and assist with marketing activities for the community. Under the direction of the Executive Director, you will coordinate move-ins, maintain model suites, conduct tours, and coordinate meals and activities after move-in, while supporting outreach and communications with prospects and residents.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and a compassion for older adults.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to American House’s philosophy and all policies of the Community Relations Department.
• Assist leadership with marketing, sales, and census communication.
• Help implement marketing plans.
• Support networking and community outreach.
• Build rapport with prospects.
• Ensure model suites are well maintained.
• Complete required reports.
• Send cards and notes to prospects and residents in hospital.
• Ensure move-in suites are ready to standards.
• Provide tours to prospects.
• Explain meals, activities, housekeeping, and transportation after move-in.
• Put new move-ins on the housekeeping schedule.
• Introduce the Life Enrichment Calendar to new move-ins.
• Check in with new residents after first week.
• Other duties as needed.
