Job summary

Oakmont Management Group in Hayward, CA seeks a Move-In Coordinator to ensure smooth transitions for new residents and to support the Marketing Department with administrative tasks, inquiries, and tours. The role involves organizing events, handling inquiries, and visiting prospective residents as needed.

The position requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) and preferred experience with seniors. Proficiency in MS Office is expected, and strong patient interaction with cognitively impaired

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer one year of experience working with seniors, preferably in the Senior Housing Industry.
• Able to operate a personal computer and be proficient in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, etc.).
• Knowledge of and/or ability to learn the theory and practice of assisted living and dementia care.
• Able to work with seniors and patiently interact with cognitively impaired individuals.
• Able to be flexible, adapt and respond to change, make decisions in stressful situations, and prioritize tasks and projects.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests.
• Vaccination/testing requirements may apply per regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Maintain thorough knowledge of the property’s products and services to represent the property to referral sources and prospects.
• Give community tours as needed and provide marketing information.
• Qualify prospects and convert to tours and deposits using the sales process.
• Assist with organizing, planning, and managing all marketing events.
• Attend resident, family inquiry, and referral source events inside and away from the community.
• Serve as a liaison for residents and family members during the transition to the community.
• Follow the move-in checklist and prepare the new resident administrative file.
• Create and maintain the Resident Directory.
