Waltonwood is seeking a Med Tech in Novi, MI to support our elderly residents with medication administration, daily living activities, and compassionate care. You will collaborate with Caregivers and physicians to maintain safety, dignity, and independence for residents across our Waltonwood communities.

The role emphasizes teamwork, shift supervision, and clear communication with families and leadership to ensure high-quality care and resident well-being.

Competenze

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• CNA certification is required in NC.
• Caregiving or Med Tech experience is required.
• Experience with elderly residents and memory impairment.

Mansioni

• Administer medication to residents following medical charts and maintain med documentation.
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and daily tasks.
• Participate in shift change meetings and communicate resident status.
• Assist with janitorial tasks as needed.
• Act as a shift supervisor to ensure resident care needs are met.
• Support Caregivers during transfers and duties.
• Coordinate with physicians and pharmacy for proper medication orders.
• Report changes in residents' health to physicians, families and leadership.
• Communicate with residents, families, Caregivers, Wellness Coordinator and doctors.
• Provide emotional support with respect and dignity; maintain safety.
• Promote safety and wellbeing using procedures and safety equipment.
• Take on additional duties as assigned.
