Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years maintenance/handyman experience in senior living, multi-apartment, or hotel setting.
• Strong repair skills across HVAC, drywall, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, and floor care.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Friendly, professional customer-service demeanor.
• Comfort with cleaning chemicals, tools, and machinery.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine building maintenance across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and floor care.
• Complete repairs promptly following safety standards.
• Maintain equipment and inventory and service logs.
• Repair vacated rooms and prepare for new residents.
• Maintain common areas, walls, floors, doors, and woodwork.
• Coordinate with inspectors and fire marshal as required.
• Ensure compliance with local and state codes.
