Cogir Senior Living is seeking a maintenance technician to preserve the integrity of our buildings and promptly address repairs. The role covers electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and routine upkeep to ensure a safe, welcoming environment for residents.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in maintenance within senior living or similar settings and demonstrates reliability, organization, and strong customer service. This on-site position includes competitive wages and benefits.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.
2+ years of maintenance or handyman experience in a senior living, multi-apartment, or hotel setting.
Broad skillset including HVAC, drywall repair, carpentry, minor electrical, plumbing, painting, floor care, and landscaping.

Responsibilities

Perform routine building maintenance (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting, floor care, basic repairs).
Ensure repairs and service orders are completed promptly and safely.
Maintain scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on equipment.
Repair vacated rooms and prepare for new residents.
Maintain common areas and defend building upkeep.
Manage maintenance supplies and inventory.
Keep logs of maintenance work and inspections.
Coordinate with local inspectors and authorities as required.
Adhere to local and state codes.
