Job summary

Cogir Senior Living is seeking a proactive Maintenance Technician to maintain building systems, perform electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and appliance repairs. The role requires at least two years of maintenance or handyman experience in senior living or hotel settings and a High School Diploma.

You will manage service orders, maintain records, and coordinate with inspectors to ensure safety and quality for residents.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years maintenance/handyman experience in senior living, multi-apartment, or hotel setting.
• Experience with HVAC, drywall repair, carpentry, minor electrical, plumbing, painting, and related tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine building maintenance including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and flooring tasks.
• Complete repairs promptly following safety standards and service orders.
• Maintain equipment and supplies inventory; document maintenance work.
• Prepare vacated rooms for new residents; ensure common areas are well maintained.
• Coordinate with inspectors and authorities to comply with codes and safety regulations.
