Job summary

Cogir Senior Living seeks a maintenance technician to uphold the building’s integrity across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and more. The role focuses on prompt repairs, safety compliance, and resident-ready spaces in a multi-state senior living network.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in maintenance within senior living or similar settings, with a proactive, customer-friendly approach and readiness to work in a team and independently.

Qualifications

• Two years of prior maintenance or handyman experience in a senior living, multi-apartment, or hotel setting.
• General maintenance skills including HVAC, drywall repair & texturing, carpentry, minor electrical, plumbing, painting, floor care, and landscaping.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently with good time management.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine building maintenance such as electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting, floor care, and basic repairs.
• Ensure repairs and service orders are completed promptly and safely.
• Maintain scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on equipment.
• Repair vacated rooms promptly and prepare for new resident move-in.
• Maintain walls, floors, doors, and woodwork in common areas.
