Job summary
Cogir Senior Living is seeking a maintenance technician to uphold the building's structural integrity and promptly address maintenance issues. You will troubleshoot and repair building systems, appliances, and equipment to meet safety standards.
The ideal candidate has at least two years of maintenance or handyman experience in senior living or hotel settings, with a proactive, detail‑oriented approach and a professional customer‑service mindset.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Maintenance-related certifications are a plus, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine building maintenance across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting, floor care, and appliance repairs.
- Ensure repairs and service orders are completed promptly following safety standards.
- Maintain equipment, logs, inventory, and coordinate with inspectors as needed.
- Prepare vacated rooms for new residents and maintain common areas.
- Communicate with local authorities and adhere to local/state codes.
