Job summary
Cogir Senior Living is seeking a proactive Maintenance Technician to uphold the integrity of our building systems and respond to maintenance requests promptly. The role focuses on repairing and maintaining electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and related building components across our senior living communities.
The ideal candidate will have at least two years' maintenance experience, a broad skill set including HVAC, drywall, carpentry, and basic electrical/plumbing, and a customer-service
Qualifications
- Two years of maintenance or handyman experience required in senior living, multi-unit, or hotel settings.
- Broad maintenance skillset including HVAC, drywall, carpentry, minor electrical and plumbing, painting and floor care.
- Independent work style with good time management and organization.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting, floor care, and appliance repairs.
- Complete repairs and service orders promptly following safety standards.
- Maintain scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on equipment and systems.
- Repair vacated rooms and prepare for new resident move-in.
- Maintain walls, floor coverings, doors, and woodwork in common areas.
- Monitor maintenance supplies and equipment inventory.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance work and service logs.
- Coordinate with local inspectors and ensure compliance with codes.
