Job summary

Atria Senior Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform routine and complex maintenance tasks at our senior living communities. You will diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other systems, complete service requests, and ensure apartments are ready for new residents.

The role requires basic arithmetic, the ability to operate general maintenance tools, and a valid driver’s license. On-site work with opportunities to advance within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic for measurements, estimates and percentages.
• Experience with maintenance tasks and basic repairs in HVAC, electrical, plumbing or carpentry.
• Able to operate general office equipment as needed.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair maintenance issues across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, major appliances, carpentry and related systems.
• Complete service requests and repairs in a safe, timely manner.
• Perform turn-key work to ensure vacant apartments are rent-ready.
• Maintain customer service standards and respond to resident requests.
• Promote safe work practices and ensure compliance with laws and building codes.
• Assist with organizing and prioritizing service tasks and may supervise other workers.
