Job summary

StoryPoint Carlson Parkway is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform general maintenance and repair duties across apartment communities. The role requires working various shifts, including weekends and holidays, outdoors in different weather conditions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or some college credits; or related experience.
• Proficient in apartment maintenance: HVAC, plumbing, electrical, structural, appliance repair; drywall and painting.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, instructions; write routine reports.

Responsibilities

• Operate tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain effective working relationships with team members.
• Identify and report broken equipment or unsafe conditions to supervisor.
• Keep work area and equipment clean and safe per regulations.
• Perform preventative maintenance on machinery and facilities as required.
• Maintain positive customer service attitude with staff and residents.
